Bringing the Outdoors In – A Stunning Summer Wedding with Style, Sound & Celebration
In June 2022, we had the absolute pleasure of delivering full production for a truly unforgettable wedding at the iconic Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London. Collaborating once again with the visionary team at Steven Duggan Events, this event was the perfect blend of sophistication, elegance — and serious celebration.
With a creative brief to “bring the outdoors in,” Steven Duggan Events and Liana Verderocce Florists transformed the venue into a floral dreamscape. Our role? To bring the design to life through expert sound, lighting and video production — setting the scene for each moment, from the heartfelt ceremony to the high-energy dancefloor.
Ceremony & Reception – The Carlyle Room
To complement the intimate and romantic atmosphere of the Carlyle Room:

Uplighting was used to wash the space in soft, elegant tones to enhance the floral installations.

A PA system and lapel microphones ensured every word of the ceremony was heard clearly by guests — with no disruption to the serene setting.
- Our truss system was even incorporated into the floral design, doubling as a frame for truly breathtaking floral arrangements.
Wedding Breakfast – Ballroom Elegance
As the celebration moved into the ballroom:

We elevated the ambience with a combination of uplighting and breakout lighting, creating a soft glow around the space.

A PA system was installed for speeches and background music.

A bespoke stage, microphones and IEMs were provided for the evening’s live band.
Evening Party – Turning Up the Energy
As day turned to night, the celebration evolved into an all-out party:

We introduced a dynamic lighting package to match the energy of the dancefloor.

A video wall added a layer of visual spectacle during speeches and the bands performance, displaying custom visuals and moments from the day.

Throughout the event, our dedicated technical team delivered live sound, lighting and video engineering, ensuring every moment ran seamlessly.
Why This Wedding Stood Out
This wedding was the perfect example of how production can elevate not only the look but the feel of a luxury celebration. From the natural beauty of the ceremony to the electric party atmosphere of the evening, each space was brought to life through carefully curated lighting, sound and staging.
It was also, without a doubt, one of the most fun weddings we’ve had the pleasure of working on — full of love, laughter, and dancing into the early hours.
