Overview

The Cheam Celebration of Food & Drink is a non-profit festival dedicated to bringing the local community together with great food, drink, and live entertainment. Since first being approached by event organizer Michael in 2018, Fusion Sound & Light has been proud to provide technical production for this growing event.

After a successful first year, 2019 saw the festival expand, and we were excited to scale up our production to match its growing ambitions.

Our Role

For the second year of the festival, Fusion Sound & Light supplied:
✅ PA System – Ensuring crystal-clear sound coverage across the entire site.
✅ Lighting Design – Creating an engaging atmosphere for performances.
✅ Staging & Truss – Providing a sturdy and professional setup for artists and speakers.
✅ Delay Systems – Enhancing sound clarity across the venue for all attendees.
✅ Second Stage Setup – Supporting more performances and entertainment throughout the event.

Challenges & Solutions

Scaling Up Production: With an increase in audience size, we expanded our setup to accommodate a larger crowd while maintaining sound and lighting quality.
Outdoor Event Logistics: Managing power distribution and sound coverage for an open-air festival required strategic placement of delay systems and trussing.
Tight Turnarounds: With multiple performances throughout the day, our team worked efficiently to ensure seamless stage transitions and technical support.
