Full Festival Production at Windsor Racecourse
In summer 2025, Fusion Sound & Light delivered full festival production for Celestry, a high-energy house and dance music event held at Windsor Racecourse.
Bringing together legendary DJs including Chicane, Judge Jules, Todd Terry, Roger Sanchez, Tall Paul, Rozalia and Jon Pleased Wimmin, the event attracted thousands of dance music fans for a spectacular open-air celebration.
The organisers approached Fusion Sound & Light to provide complete technical production, including staging, sound system hire, lighting design, video wall production, special effects and power distribution.
Our goal was to create a festival-standard production environment capable of supporting internationally recognised artists while delivering an immersive and visually powerful experience for the audience.
Stage & Festival Setup
At the heart of the event was an 8m x 6m canopy festival stage, designed to provide a professional performance platform while protecting equipment and artists from outdoor conditions.
To enhance the audience experience and create greater engagement between performers and the crowd, the stage included a catwalk extension, allowing DJs and performers to interact directly with the audience.
The stage design featured:
-
Custom DJ booth wrapped with LED video wall panels
-
Dynamic visual content displayed throughout the event
This setup ensured the stage remained the focal point of the festival while delivering a visually striking production environment.
Professional Festival Sound System
Delivering powerful and consistent sound across a large outdoor audience area was essential for this dance music event.
We supplied a D&B professional sound system, carefully designed and tuned to deliver clear, high-impact audio across the entire site.
The system included:
-
Sidefill speakers
-
Stage monitors for performers
-
Midas M32 front-of-house mixing console
-
Midas M32R monitor mixing desk
This configuration provided exceptional audio quality while offering the flexibility required for multiple artists performing throughout the event.
DJ & Artist Performance Equipment
To support internationally recognised DJs and ensure seamless performances, we provided industry-standard DJ equipment and artist rider support, including:
-
Pioneer DJM-A9 mixer
-
Professional microphones
Providing the latest Pioneer DJ equipment ensured performers could deliver their sets using the industry-standard setup they rely on at major festivals and venues worldwide.
Festival Lighting Design
Lighting played a crucial role in creating the high-energy atmosphere expected at a house and dance music event.
Our lighting rig included a combination of moving heads, audience blinders and atmospheric effects to enhance the visual experience.
Lighting equipment included:
-
Evora CMY300 Zoom Spots
-
Evora 740ZP Zoom Wash fixtures
-
Tourhazer 2-SF haze machine
-
Smoke Factory Data II haze system
These fixtures delivered dynamic lighting looks, powerful audience moments and dramatic beam effects throughout the performances.
Special Effects & Festival Atmosphere
To elevate the energy of the event and create memorable moments during headline sets, we incorporated a range of special effects commonly used in large-scale festival productions.
These included:
-
CO₂ cannons for explosive drops and crowd interaction
-
Laserworld CS12000RGB FX full-colour laser system (12,000mW) for dramatic aerial laser displays
Combined with the lighting rig and video visuals, these effects created an immersive festival environment that amplified the music and heightened the audience experience.
Video Wall & Visual Production
The event featured a video wall DJ booth and stage backdrop, providing a dynamic visual centrepiece for the performance area.
This video content enhanced the audience experience by:
-
Delivering immersive visuals during DJ performances
-
Reinforcing the event’s celestial branding theme
-
Creating a strong visual connection between stage and crowd
Video walls are increasingly becoming a key element in modern festival production, helping events stand out visually and enhance audience engagement.
Power Distribution & Technical Production
In addition to sound, lighting and stage production, our team also delivered complete site power distribution for the event.
Reliable power management ensured all technical systems operated smoothly throughout the festival.
Our team of experienced sound engineers, lighting technicians and video operators managed:
-
Event setup and rigging
-
Technical testing and rehearsals
-
Live event operation
-
Artist technical support
This ensured the event ran seamlessly from the first performance to the final set.
Collaboration with the Event Organisers
From the early planning stages, we worked closely with the event organisers to design a production package that delivered maximum visual and audio impact while remaining within budget.
This collaborative approach allowed us to balance technical requirements, artist riders and creative ambition to create a production setup that exceeded expectations.
Continuing Our Partnership with Celestry
The success of the 2025 event made Celestry one of the standout highlights of our summer festival season.
Following the overwhelming success of the event, Fusion Sound & Light has been confirmed as the production partner for Celestry again in July 2026.
We look forward to building on the success of the previous year and delivering another spectacular celebration of house and dance music.
