On Red Wednesday, we had the honour of illuminating The London Oratory in a striking red glow, standing in solidarity with persecuted Christians and those denied religious freedom worldwide.

This powerful event, organised by Aid to the Church in Need (ACN), sees landmarks across the globe bathed in red light—a bold visual reminder of the suffering faced by many due to their faith. The London Oratory, one of the UK’s most iconic churches, became a beacon of awareness, prayer, and support.

Our Role in the Event

At Fusion Sound & Light, we were proud to contribute by providing the lighting and technical production needed to transform the Oratory’s grand façade. Our team carefully designed and implemented a dramatic red lighting setup, ensuring the church stood out in the London skyline as a symbol of remembrance and hope.

This project came with its challenges:
🔴 Preserving the church’s historic beauty while enhancing its presence with powerful lighting.
🔴 Outdoor setup considerations, ensuring the lighting remained impactful yet respectful of the sacred space.
🔴 Weather-proofing and logistics, as the installation required careful planning around the building’s architecture and environmental factors.
