Technical Specification
- Pioneer DJM-900 Nexus pro DJ digital mixer Features
- Hardwearing faders
- The strong Magvel Faders are built to last. They consist of two metal shafts that hold the fader knobs whilst using a contact free magnetic system design to ensure that they are as resilient as possible.
- X-PAD – one fingered touch
- Ability to use X-PAD with Beat FX and modify its boundaries at the touch of a finger.
- BEAT FX
- The mixer allows for Beat FX to be assigned to 13 channels including Echo, Reverb, Roll, Delay, Spiral, Filter, Reverse Roll and Flanger.
- Quantized Beat FX
- Quantize snaps Beat FX, cues and loops to the Rekordbox beat grid for precise performances.
- USB soundcard
- An in-built USB soundcard permits input/output of stereo signals all at the same time without compromising on the quality of the audio (due to the high-sampling audio rate of 96kHz/24-bit). When the unit is connected to a computer/laptop there is the option to adjust the audio routing, mixer and soundcard settings
- High-class sound design
- The mixer’s sound is top quality due to a 32-bit A/D converter installed within the casing. This in turn improves the quality of the sound output to its highest. A 32-bit digital signal processor has been installed to restrain digital noise. Analogue noise has also been concealed through the well designed balanced hybrid operation amps and circuit outputs.
- Easily controlled effects
- The Nexus comes with 6 sound FX (Crush, Noise, Gate/Comp, Filter, Space and Dub Echo) which are of top-quality studio standard and accessible on every channel. The new FX are Space (which adds a high-pass and low-pass feel) and Dub Echo (which allows high-pass and low-pass control over a new tape delay effect). Noise has been taken from the ever popular DJM-2000 and Gate/Comp allows you to either completely strip back your music or alternatively fills it out to blend very different creations together.
- EQ isolator on each channel
- The 3-band EQ isolator can be used on each channel to modify the low, mid and high frequencies.
- ProDJ Link
- ProDJ Link can be used where one source can be shared after connecting the DJM-900 Nexus Mixer to other players, laptops or turntables using a LAN connection. Access to Rekordbox allows syncing of the beat with master deck, access to pre-prepared loops and cues and access to lots of advanced ProDJ features.
- Scratch
- As the mixer has Scratch, DVS (Digital Vinyl System) control becomes available when connecting a CDJ or laptop directly. Please note the DJM-900 Nexus does not support Serato Scratch Liveâ„¢.
- MIDI Controller
- Due to the vast array of the 900 Nexus’ transferable MIDI functions it can be used as a MIDI Controller.
