d&b Q-10 Speaker Hire

The Q-10 is a passive 2-way full-range loudspeaker manufactured by d&b audiotechnik, and is part of the Q-Series system. It can be used by itself in full-range mode, or in conjunction with other Q-series speakers and can be driven by the D6, D12 or D80 amplifiers. The Q10 is a compact yet powerful cabinet, outputting up to 137dB SPL yet weighing just 22kg. Up to two cabinets can be connected per channel to the D6, D12 and D60 amplifiers.

The loudspeaker comprises of two 10″ LF neodymium drivers and a single 1.3″ HF driver, with a rotateable horn so that the speaker can be used in portrait position (attached to a stand using the Z5150 Q Swivel bracket for example), or landscape either flown or ground-stacked in conjunction with other Q-Series speakers. When used in the upright configuration it has a very accurate 110° horizontal constant directivity behaviour that is maintained down to approximately 800 Hz. Its wide constant directivity performance provides remarkable transparency when used in close proximity to listeners.

The Q10 is suited to smaller-to-medium-scale productions, yet can also be used for larger events in conjunction with other Q-series cabinets. As with other d&b products, the Q10 is manufactured exceptionally well, using Marine Plywood and an impact-resistant paint finish.
